Nalini Mathur and MuIda Bhatara

Abstract

Length weight relationship and relative condition factor (Kn) of Cirrhinus mrigala (Ham.) were studied from two different freshwater lakes of Ajmer zone, Rajasthan. It was found that the values of Kn fluctuated in all length groups of males and females irrespective of the characteristics of the water body. In males high Kn values were recorded for the length group 30-45 cm and for females in 30-35 cm from Lasardia lake and 20-25 cm from Srinagar lake.
