Abstract

The isolated fluorescent Pseudomonas fluorescens treated to Abelmoschus esculentus (L) Moench and Lycopersicon esculentum Mill plants grown on seeded bacteria in pot culture experiment. The growth pattern of the treated plants were studied at one week intervals up to eight weeks. The growth characteristics root length, shoot length and chlorophyll content increased markedly in Pseudomonas treated with carrier starch and (Charcoal). The isolated P. fluorescens showed effective biocontrol against fungal plant pathogen Fusarium in vivo.
