Few species were found to be rare while some were abundant and common in the reservoir. Fish production was maximum during the year 2002-2003 while maximum number of carp seeds were introduced during the year 2003-2004.To improve fish production predatory fishes such as cat fishes should also be introduced along with carps only when the fingerling grow larger in size.
