Abstract
Studies on the physico-chemical characteristics and nutrients of the Kayakkody panchayat wells were studied for a period of six months during pre-monsoon seasons, (June to Nov 2005).The study was carried out to determine the quality of ground water and pollution status.All the waters were found to be suitable for drinking and irrigation.
