Abstract

Production of garbage is a considered as an integral part of the growth of societies and civilizations, hut for healthy development of any community, it is imperative that people pay due attention to the handling and treatment of solid waste, as garbage is not only a source of nuisance but also posses a threat to the health of the community. The present study was aimed at evaluating the effectiveness of microbial consortium in composting the waste generated from kitchen.
