Abstract
The levels of macro nutrient elements were determined by Inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrophotometer (ICPAES) in 10 different leafy samples (used as food stuffs and some in lore medicine). The accuracy of the method is verified by analysing certified reference materials. The data indicate that these leafy vegetables in general have good mineral nutrients. The nutritive value of these leaves and the preparation of secondary references materials (SRM's) from these samples are discussed. The correlation matrix was evaluated in order to understand the correlation between metals in these leafy samples S.
