Abstract
The Studies on physico-chemical and biological examination of the water of Narsingi pond were carried out from January 1988 to December 1989 with reference to phytoplankton population. It has been concluded that the water supply from this source is fit for industrial as well as irrigation purposes, but it cannot serve as a scarcity alternative to drinking water.
