Abstract
The shelf life of Glonius fasciculatum, G. macrocarpum, Gigaspora margarita, Acaulospora laevis and Sclerocystis dussii was determined at three storage temperature levels viz. 4°C, room temperature (26-37°C) and at 45°C. The viability of all the inocula was maximum at 4°C. Increase in storage temperature resulted in decrease in the shelf life. Glonius fasciculation, G. macrocarpum and S. dussii had better shelf life than A. laevis and.G. margarita. All the inocula were viable up to 10 months of storage at 4°C and room temperature. However, at 45°C, all the inocula except S. clussii could be stored for three months, while the latter inoculum had the shelf life of 4 months at this temperature.
