INVESTIGATIONS ON HYDRAULIC CONDITIONS EFFECT ON GYPSUMS SOLVABILITY PROCESS IN WATER STRUCTURES FOUNDATION (A CASE STUDY)

Moazzami Ali Reza and Mohammad Hossein Noori Gheidari

Abstract

Gypsum and Anhydrites existence in the selected substratum and bases makes its construction face some problems .Gypsum behavior beside water flow, because of its high dissolvable potential is threatening and causes anxiety. Previous researches show that gypsum materials solvability potential has always been a threat, beside water flow with high speed. In the recent project by performing laboratorial tests, the process and amount of gypsums solvability in dam water and distilled water has been investigated and solvability coefficient for Marash dam water and distilled water and also response degree coefficient has been carefully estimated.
