Abstract
Three agrochemicals namely saturn (0 - 300 ptg/m1), lsoporturon and (0-300 mg/m1) BHC (0-30 ug/ml) were used to study their ecophysiological effects on growth processes of paddy-field cyanobacterumAnabaenadoliolum. Parameters studied were growth (OD), nitrogen fixation, carbohydrate content, dry weight and pigmentation. The growth as well as nitrogen fixation were inhibited even at very low concentrations of chemicals used. Tolerance limits of above agrochemicals was worked out using single and combination growth experiments.
