Abstract
This paper describes the types of plastc waste generated in India and their present status. It also touches briefly the various stages of waste management and its re' .ilatory acts in India. In details, the management and control techniques along with various recyclable utility products have also been discussed to have optimum utilisation of plastic waste with the help of optimization model, available and adoptable techno-economical European technology.
