Abstract
The present paper deals with abundance, periodicity and composition of phytoplankton in relation to physicochemical factors of fish pond at Anjale, Dist. jalgaon, Maharashtra. It was observed that members of Bacillariophyceae were dominant amongst other algal groups.This dominance was followed serially by Chlorophyceae, Myxophyceae, Euglenineae and Dinophyceae.
