SUDHI SINGH AND ASHA AGARWAL

Abstract

In the present study, the serum total prolein, albumin and AG ratio decrease. with an increase in serum globulin in parakeets after 10,20 and 30 days exposure to 75 and I 50 ppm S02. Initially there was no major change in the protein contents, while the Scrum total protein and serum albumin decreased very highly significantly after prolonged exposure to sulphur dioxide. The increase in the serum globulin was non-significant.
