Abstract
The anaerobic digestion of black liquor of pulp and paper mill was studied in the monophasic system using IJASB reactor. The different hydraulic retention time (I-I RT) were studied. A maximum methane content of 74% and COD reduction of 69.99% was observed at a HRT of 4.5 d.
