A. S. Deshmukh

Abstract

Water in the most important necessity for life. The growing number of cases of water borne diseases increasing water pollution, increasing urbanization, increasing scarcity of pure and safe water etc have made the bottled water business just like other consumer items. Gulf and other countries are building water hub on the west coast of India. The water will be packaged at the hub and then distributed in India / Saudi Arabia / Iraq and UAE countries and thus multinational and private companies will earn crores of rupees as profit. So there is good scope for establishing the units for processing and bottling plant and meneralised drinking water in country through which the Government could earn cores of rupees as revenue for national development work.
