Abstract
Laboratory experiments were conductivity on two identified rhizobial isolates (ALS-3 and SAM- 3) isolated from the forest nurseries of Himachal Pradesh. The agro-industrial wastes, apple pomace and kinnow pomace were used as carbon sources and yeast water and spent grain as nitrogen sources. Studies indicate that amongst the agro wastes apple pomace is a good source of carbon and yeast water for nitrogen, with respect to rhizobial growth.
