Abstract

Wistar strain male albino rats exposed to 1/2 and 1/4thl dilution of treated industrial effluent collected from Jeedimetla effluent treatment limited, Jeedimetla, Hyderabad, and A.P, INDIA for a period of 21 days. Rats were subjected to sacrifice after 21st day of exposure and liver tissues were analysed to assess the relative response of hepatic microsomal enzyme activity (Cyt TP ). The over all result reveals that, a significant reduction in Cyt .P enzyme activity in all treated groups as against to that of control.
