Abstract
A study on the accumulation of chromium and its histopathological effects in the liver, kidney, stomach and gonads of the male and female frogs, Rana tigrina at different exposure hours (24, 48, 72, 96 and 120) was undertaken. The metal accumulation study showed a gradual increase as the duration of exposure increased. In histopathology, visible tissue damages were noticed in the chromium administered frogs, compared to the control.
