ASSESSMENT MODELS TO ESTIMATE WATER PERMEABILITY IN THE SOIL

Moussa Rassaei and Sedigheh Rahbar

Abstract

Permeability of the most important components, the hydrological cycle is, and one of the most commonlyphysical phenomena, that researchers agricultural and natural resources, are relative to it particular attention. Accordingly, the present study, which is aimed to evaluating of the various models Horton, Kostiakov, Philip, Green Mpt and Organization Soil Conservation of American, by using data obtained from a 38- point permeability, using the Double Ring, was established in the Forest Park in yasuj. In order to compare the performance of different models was used the measures of measurement accuracy different, including the correlation coefficient, the square root square error. Modeling results showed that, on average, is visible the maximum correlation coefficient, in model of Philip and Kostiakov (R> 90) , so that, depending on the soil texture, the accuracy of models, as well as to some extent varied and in clay soils, and sandy, Philip model, and,in clay soil of loamy, Kostiakov model, were identified as a top model , while the minimum coefficient of determination in Horton model obtained in all soils (R <70). In total, the maximum correlation values were obtained in clay soils of loamy.
