Abstract

An experiment was carried out to find out the influence of exogenous application of growth regulators on leaf area and nut yield of cashew variety Bhaskara. The highest leaf area and nut yield was recorded in the trees sprayed with GA3 @ 50 ppm and Ethrel @ 50 ppm. In this study all trees sprayed with growth regulators significantly increased leaf area compared to control. With respect to different growth regulators, spraying of ethrel @ 50 ppm results in highest nut yield (kg) per tree followed by NAA @ 25 ppm over other treatments. Lowest nut yield was recorded with control.
