Abstract
The present work deals with the quality of water parameters such as pH, electrical conductivity, total hardness, calcium, magnesium, total alkalinity, chloride, salinity and fluoride in Kodumudiaru dam water. These parameters are recorded by means of collecting twenty samples of water from the dam and near by ponds connected through canal. Experimental analysis shows that concentration of fluoride in surface water is less than 1 ppm, which is the permissible limit. The other parameters are also present within the limit.
