Abstract

Conditions for biodegradation of poultry industry waste by microbial consortium consisting of four destructor microorganisms (ratio of 1:1:1:1): Bacillus licheniformis B-2986, Streptomyces ornatus S-1220, Penicillium rubrum F-601 Verticillium lateritum F-626 were selected. The following conditions proved to be optimal for hydrolysis of wastes by microbial consortium: 37°C; pH 7.5; a culturing period of 12.0 hours; the ratio of inoculum to the volume of processed raw materials of 1:5.0.
