Abstract

A field experiment was conducted at College Agronomy Farm, Anand Agricultural University, Anand Gujarat to study the varietal response of summer cluster bean (Cymopsis tetragonoloba L.) to different irrigation scheduling (IW:CPE ratios) during 2012. It was consisting of combination of four irrigation scheduling at control (I0 critical growth stages), 0.6 IW: CPE (I1), 0.8 IW: CPE (I2) and 1.0 IW: CPE (I3) ratios as a main plot treatment and three varieties Gujarat Guar-1 (V1), Gujarat Guar-2 (V2) and Pusa Navbahar as a sub plot treatments. The field experiment was laid out in strip plot design with four replications. For securing higher seed yield, yield and growth attributes from cluster bean crop raised in loamy sand soils of middle Gujarat, it is advisable to application of irrigation at 0.8 IW: CPE ratio and pusa navabahar variety used as cultivar.
