Abstract
The study was conducted on 30 out patients and 20 healthy people to determine the influences of infected with Echinococus granulosus on levels of lipid profile and IgG in infected with E.granulosus in compared with healthy group. Who have visited Al-Sadder medical city and Al-Hakeem Hospital in Al- Najaf governorate during the period from January till August 2014. The results showed significant increase (P<0.05) in cholesterol, Triglycerides, low-density lipoprotein (LDL) and Very-low-density lipoprotein (vLDL) in E.granulosus infected patients in compared to control group. Furthermore the results showed serum High-density lipoprotein (HDL) was significant decreased (P< 0.05) in E.granulosus infection patients in compared to control group also the results showed significant increase in IgG level in patients compared with control group.
