Abstract

The seeds of Rangpur lime were subjected to pre- sowing treatments with different osmopriming and bioformulations. Among the different pre-soaking treatments, seeds pre-soaked with panchagavya 3 per cent (19.13 days) recorded minimum number of days for initiation of germination, whereas seeds pre-soaked with vermiwash (1:10) recorded minimum number of days for 50 per cent (20.00 days) and completion of germination (29.00 days), highest germination percentage was recorded in vermiwash (1:10) (96.67%), highest germination index (0.27 days) was recorded in seeds pre-soaked with panchagavya 3 per cent. Highest rootstock height (64.00 cm), rootstock diameter (5.13 mm), primary root length (28.00 cm), number of secondary roots (55.33) root volume (5.63 ml), fresh weight (41.50 g) and dry weight (16.25 g), was recorded in seeds pre-soaked with GA3 100 ppm concentration whereas highest number of leaves (35.80), rootstock vigour (1348.00 g), vigour index (5426.00 cm) was observed in seeds pre-soaked with panchagavya 3 per cent concentration.
