Om Prakash Meena and Vijay Bahadur

Abstract

This experiment was conducted to evaluate the comparative performance of thirty tomato germplasm under Allahabad agro-climatic condition during 2012-13. A total of thirty germplasm were arranged in randomized complete block design with three replications. The results revealed that the germplasm EC-620533 was earliest to flowering (45.20 days) as compared to other plant materials. The germplasm H-86 (66.30 g) attained highest fruit weight, whereas the higher fruit yield plant-1 (2600.29 g) was recorded from the germplasm 2011/TODVAR-01 followed by H-86 (2156.92 g). In respect to TSS and ascorbic acid germplasm 2012/TODVAR-04 (6.16 oB) and 2012/TODVAR-04 (43.04 mg/100g), had superior performance, respectively.
