Brucellosis is among the diseases common between a human and a livestock that annually infects innumerable individuals. The familiarization with its prevalent symptoms avails considerable assistance to a better diagnosis and treatment. For this reason the present study was conducted with an aim to assess the serological and clinical symptoms of brucellosis patients hospitalized in Ali Ibn Abi Talib (AS) Hospital, Rafsanjan, in 2014 - 2015. For this purpose all the brucellosis patients were assessed from the viewpoint of clinical symptoms, experimental findings and member involvement in 2014-2015. The results showed that this disease is more observed in men (67.2%), villagers (58.2%), stockbreeders (28.4%), and in the age groups 20 - 40 years (38.8%). The most prevalent clinical sign was fever (99.5%) followed by muscular pain (82.1%). 37/3% of the individuals had swollen joints. The Wright and Coombs Wright tests were positive in 92.5% cases. The Wright and Coombs Wright positive test rate were higher in stockbreeders (P=0. 006). The results of this study showed that brucellosis is still observed more in villagers and thus is an occupation dependent disease. Likewise, Wright test which is prevalently used has a significant reliability in the assessment of cognitive and diagnostic pandemic and can be safely used.
