THE EFFECT OF COOPERATION OF ORGANIZATIONS INVOLVED IN RURAL AFFAIRS ON RURAL MUNICIPALITY PERFORMANCE (CASE STUDY: VILLAGES IN BARDASKAN, IRAN)

Abstract

Rural management is one of the main dimensions of rural development. In Iran, local management model, rural municipality known as Dehyari, has been implemented over the past decade. This article is aimed to promote the performance of rural municipality and seeks to study certain factors affecting the Dehyari performance. “The Cooperation of Organizations Involved in Rural Affairs” was considered the variable and its effect was calculated on Dehyari performance. The statistical population consisted of 63 Dehyaris in Bardaskan5, Iran. Census sampling was employed. For the hypothesis testing, 9 items were developed though a questionnaire. The validity and reliability were verified using Delphi and Cronbach’s alpha, respectively. The data were analyzed using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. “Timely Allocation of Budgets” was found to be the most important factor affecting the performance of Dehyari concerning the collaboration of the organizations involved in rural affairs.
