Rural management is one of the main dimensions of rural development. In most countries around the world, there are numerous models for local management of villages. A diverse range of methods have been tried in the history of Iran for rural management. In Iran, the establishment of rural management body, known as Dehyari, has been on the agenda of the Ministry of Interior over the past decade. Village Manager, known as Dehyar, is appointed as the head in this model. This article aimed to investigate to what extent “Dehyar Job Satisfaction”, as a variable, is effective in Dehyari Performance. The statistical population consisted of 63 Dehyaris2 in Bardaskan3, Iran. For the hypothesis testing, 10 items were developed though a questionnaire. The validity and reliability were verified using Delphi and Cronbach’s alpha, respectively. The data were analyzed using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. The results showed that “Dehyari Budget” was found to be the most important factor affecting the performance of Dehyari concerning the Dehyar Satisfaction.
