AN ONTOLOGICAL REPRESENTATION FOR ASSESSMENT USING ANCHOR NODES FOR THE OCCURENCE OF THE DRUG RESISTANT VIRUS IN HIV/AIDS TREATMENT

R. GEETHA AND S. SIVASUBRAMANIAN

Abstract

HIV/AIDS drug treatment such as extremely energetic anti-retroviral therapy (HAART), frequently miscarries owing to the rise of drug resistant species. In this paper an ontological representation using anchors nodes for the investigation of an innovative assessment technique for the probability of occurrence of drug resistant mutation. This work is the first study to symbolize the HIVT Cell ontology of measurable drug resistance emergence for HIV/AIDS drug treatments. A comparative study of treatment methods with improved gradual dosage reduction (iGDR) has been proposed for analysis. Frequently treatment fails and iGDR remains desirable to decrease the possibility of emergence of drug resistant virus. This ontological study determines anchor nodes automatically for the treatment of iGDR treatment. This detection of anchor nodes uses metrics for determination.
