Abstract

The present investigation was carried out in the laboratory of Department of Plant Pathology and Biotechnology Centre, Dr. PDKV, Akola. The total 7 isolates of Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. Ciceri (FOC) were obtained from wilted chickpea plants from different agro- climatic regions of Maharashtra. The 7 isolates were obtained from Wardha, Washim (Karanjalad), Lonar, Pune, Nashik, Rahuri, and Ahmednagar (Tisgaon) respectively. The result obtained from pathogenecity test of all the 7 isolates of Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. Ciceri proved to be pathogenic to susceptible cultivar. JG-62, of which, 4 isolates were highly pathogenic FOC- 2, FOC-3, FOC-5, FOC-6, 1 strongly pathogenic FOC-1 and 2 were moderately pathogenic FOC-4, FOC-7.
