ANFIS CONTROLLED SOLAR POWER GENERATION SYSTEM FOR DOMESTIC APPLICATIONS

Abstract

The merging advantages of neural network and fuzzy logic bring meaningful benefits in many applications. Adaptive Neuro - Fuzzy inference system (ANFIS), an emerging soft computing technique, developed from the advantageous of neural network and fuzzy logic has been used to control the inverter of the proposed solar power generation system. The power electronic interface plays a vital role in bridging the non-reliable solar energy with the domestic load or a single phase grid. Moreover the application of soft computing techniques like ANFIS in controlling the converters plays an important role nowadays in enhancing the efficiency. The entire topology consists of a boost dc to ac inverter with Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) controller, solar photovoltaic panel, linear load and nonlinear load. The complete system is modeled using MATLAB /SIMULVK.
