Abstract
Impact resistance of concrete mixtures with 0.4 water-cement ratio made with waste short cans fiber and silica fume are examined. The fiber with 60 mm length and 10 mm wide is used in this study. The results show that by inclusion of tin fiber improves impact performance of concrete slab. A comparison between fiber volume fraction indicated that concrete with 0.2 % produce the highest performance in term of more blows, more impact energy and more ductile.
