Abstract
The present study was carried out for the physico-chemical analysis of soils of Barna and Jamner streams. The physico-chemical parameters analyzed were pH, total dissolved solids, electrical conductivity, chloride, total alkalinity, nitrate and orthophosphate. During the present study, all parameters showed increased values in post monsoon except chloride. It was observed during the study that Barna has rich forest and vegetation cover on both the banks, while as the Jamner is under anthropogenic pressure which caused deterioration of soil quality of Jamner.
