Abstract

Environment pollution, natural resources depletion is a burning problem that requires the use of ecological technologies. The goal of the present paper is studying of thermal characteristics of tube solar collector for heating water. To provide a precise study of the issue the methods of analysis and experiment were used. To define technical and operational characteristics of the plant the registration of temperature sensors’ values was conducted. The temperature sensors were represented by chromel-copel thermocouples, with the help of which temperature at 6 points of the plant had been measuring. Registration of thermocouples’ values was performed by a self-recording device. Mercury thermometers along with thermocouples were installed in a number of points for check measurements. As a result of the study, it was found that specific thermal performance, circulation of solar energy plant and water heating dynamics provide heating of water regardless of season and weather conditions due to combined use of solar and electrical energy.
