Abstract
The infection of hepatitis type B is an important hygienic problem through the world, the importance of hepatitis type B is because of the high incidence of this disease and also the liver and out liver consequences. The aim of this study is to determine epidemiology and some of the effective risk factors on the positive cases of HBSAg in the referred pregnant women to the Nik Nafs maternity hospital of Rafsanjan in 2013-2014. This study is a cross-sectional survey in 2013-2014, which is accomplished by demographic sampling method of 2200 pregnant women who referred to the Nik Nafs maternity hospital of Rafsanjan in 2013-2014, and their serum sample which was investigating about HBSAg by laboratory with ELISA method was selected, then a questionnaire which was compiled by researchers, was completed and the SPSS Software 14 and chi square tests were used for its analyzing. Based on this research on 2200 pregnant women under study, a number of 16 cases (0.73%) were positive considering HBSAg. Considering the records of drug injection of husband, tattoos, the past record of narcotic drugs, not indigenousness, among the positive HBSAg group with a higher percent than negative HBSAg group, there was a meaningful difference. According to the incidence rate of Hepatitis type B in this study, there need to a public training regarding sexual behaviors and nonsexual behaviors like tattoos and etc.
