Abstract

Climate affects the concentration of ambient particles through particulates which affects the human health. The study aims to measure and analyze the correlation between climate factors (temperature and relative humidity) with the exposure of particulate pollutants (PM2.5 and PM10) in Palembang. In this study, the data were obtained from the direct measurements to 39 Puskesmas (Primary Health Care) in Palembang. The results showed that with the mean for temperature, relative humidity, PM2.5, and PM10were 32.5(1.98) 0C, 67.2(7.13) %, 10.8(5.59) ug.m-3, and 19.5(9.37) ug.m-3, respectively. There was a correlation between temperature and humidity with PM2.5 and PM10 in Palembang.
