Abstract

This study is an arbitration action plan for the safeguarding and reclamation of wetlands in the Saoura, analysis of the Ramsar criteria resulted in the development of a map of potentially wet areas by QGIS. Posing the principle of inventory work based on Ramsar’s eligibility criteria. Based on the precepts stated, we have developed a specific method for wetland inventory. The inventory method is divided into two stages. The first, analytical, consists of a stratification of the region focused on the distribution and spatial variability of ecological factors that can generate wetlands. This phase is a pre-mapping and prepares field surveys, the second step of the inventory. The field approach tests the reliability and robustness of the models developed and allows the definitive mapping of wetlands. On an experimental basis, we coupled this method to an experimental mapping using GIS, To map the wetlands of the floodplain of the Saoura. These results have opened another door for us to think that the factors we used in physical and ecological studies are the same as the natural challenges. Climate, fauna, flora, hydrology. These indicators that cause environmental issues, these issues divided into major issues, strong stakes, low stakes classification of these issues applied to wetlands of Saoura proposed according to preliminary studies. Dam Djorf Torba their issue is average and master too, the Oasis (Boukais, Taghit and Igli) without strong issues except Oasis of Beniabbes without major issues.
