Abstract
Heavy metals from mineral extraction activities may contaminate food, water, and air, and bring detrimental effects to wildlife, domesticated animals, and humans. Concentrations of heavy metals were determined in feathers of thirty individuals of free range domestic chicken and in soils from Brgy. Ipil-Calancan Bay, Sta.
