Abstract

The present investigations were carried out under Punjab conditions to investigate the effect of pre-harvest spray application of maleic hydrazide (MH) and gibberellic acid (GA3) on physico-chemical parameters of guava when stored under ambient conditions. Treated guava fruits were evaluated for physical changes such as fruit length, breadth, weight and biochemical aspects such as TSS, acidity, ascorbic acid. The experiment was laid out in randomized block design. It has been finalized from the present investigations that physio-chemical traits of fruits are affected by pre harvest applications of MH and GA3.
