OVERVIEW OF PAINTS AND ITS EFFECTS ON HEALTH

Abstract

Paints are substance used for coatings and contain mainly pigment and resin. They are used for providing artistic or decorative value to products and to provide protection from damage by the external environment. Paint fumes are any smoke like and also smell strongly. They are also dangerous to inhale and are harmful in nature. Headaches, allergies and asthmatic reactions, skin and eyes irritation, cancer, damage to vital organs are the ill effects of continuous exposure to paint and paint fumes This review article highlights the overview of paints and their toxic impact on human health.
