Abstract
Agro-oasis productivity can be limited by many factors such as inheritance, over-exploitation of groundwater, soil degradation, climatic factors and the use of marginal quality water for crop production. A study was conducted to study the effect of on-farm activites on the physicochemical quality of groundwater, by comparing the physical-chemical analysis of sampling carried out in 04 drillings in 2001 by NARW. on the same Drilling in 2016, showed an increase in salinity, thus a change in soluble salts which contains major cations (Ca²+, Mg²+ and K+) of the irrigation water and change of chemical facies, varies as follows, EC (0.282 ms/cm at 0.67 ms/cm), SAR (1 to 4.42), pH from 7.65 to 8.34. The study shows the detrimental effect of overexploitation on the change in groundwater quality
