Abstract
The present study examined the morphological feature of the pollen grains and the seeds of five species from the Malvaceae family growing in AL-Qadisiyah governorate. These species are Hibiscus sabdariffa L., Abelmoschus esculentus (L). Moench, Althaea ludwigii L., Malva parviflora L. and Gossypium hirsutum L., studied by using the light microscope (LM) and scanning electron microscope (SEM). The result showed there are many differences among species and can be isolated from other also some species interaction among them by some common characteristics, indicating that they belong to the same family. Some of its characteristics proved to be important in distinguishing between species.
