Abstract
Disease events are the result of an interactive relationship between humans and behavioral and environmental conditions that are potentially disease causing. The most frequent contact of human habitation activities occurs in their homes. Infectious Diseases as a category of infectious diseases were found to have a prevalence rate with the condition of Uninhabitable Residential Houses. When the residential environment is polluted, the Infectious Disease carrier agent will easily enter and attack when the human immune system goes down (through the respiratory system, digestive system, and skin surface). Homes that do not meet health requirements will facilitate the transmission of disease media. This study aims to formulate a conceptual model of occupancy that is adaptively able to minimize the problems of Infectious Diseases, Diarrhea, Pneumonia, and Pulmonary Infection (as a type of Infectious Disease with a majority in Malang City and Indonesian priorities) in the condition of Unworthy Residence in Malang. The research method uses an explanatory qualitative design. The initial study was carried out as a form of content analysis study. The results of this research test are used as an initial step as an effort to develop a conceptual model of adaptive occupancy to the prevalence of Infectious Diseases.
