INTAN AYU PRATIWI AND HELMI DADANG ARDIANSYAH

Abstract

Research was conducted in two palm oil mills in West Kalimantan. Analysis for gas emission that controls with Indonesia regulation such as Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2), Opacity and Emission Particulate determined for data measurement. The presence of Sulfur Dioxide (SO2),Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2), Opacity and Emission Particulate are important things to study. The result of this study shows that both of palm oil mills comply with Indonesia regulation. SO2 result is less than 2.61 and 38.23 mg/Nm3 for 1st Mill and 2nd Mill and NO2 are less than 1.88 and 364.0 mg/Nm 3 respectively. Opacity and emission particulate depict good result and complies with the regulation. Some papers compile with measurement data to give more clear data distribution of Sulfur Dioxide(SO2), Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2), Opacity and Emission Particulate.
