There are several important environmental regulations or policies in India, including the Constitutional Provisions, âEnvironmental Protection Act, Water (Prevention & Control) Act, Air (Prevention and Control) Act, Forest (Conservation) Act, âManufacture, Storage and Import of Hazardous Chemicals Rules and National Resettlement and Rehabilitation Policy. The current study is a case study of Environmental Impact Assessment of an Expressway Project. It explains all the aspects of EIA, Environmental Management Plan, and the mitigative measures taken for the project. |
