PLANT GROWTH PROMOTING ROTENTIAL OF P SOLUBILIZING PSELIDOMONAS SP. OCCI:RINC IN ACIDIC SOIL OF JALGAONR.Z.SAYYED. D.C.PATEL AND P. R. PATELAbstract Two fluorescent Pseudonionas strains designated as FP1 and FP2, isolated from acidic soils of Jalgaon, solubilized 92 and 99 mgmL1 tri-calcium phosphate respectively. P solubilization was enhanced by glucose, sucrose and ammonium sulphate. FP1. and FP2 also produced indole acetic acid, gibberellins, siderophore and exopolysaccharide. Among these two isolates FP2 was found to be efficient PSM and plant growth promontory, it enhanced seed germination and shoot length in soybean, wheat and groundnut.
