Abstract

Environmental Education (EE) is needed for all, Non-governmental organizations (NG0s) should play an important role in imparting EE to the general public especially in a country like India, where a considerable proportion of the public are illiterate and poor. This paper tries to identify the growth pattern of NGOs in India. This also identified the objectives, target groups and materials of EE of the NG0s.
