PRELIMINARY OBSERVATIONS ON THE VEGETATION OF BEED DISTRICTS. P. RotheAbstract Marathwada region on the deccon plateau of India remained practically unexplored from botanical point of view. It has a poor history of plant exploration, Vegetation of Beed district in particular has not been investigated in past. Therefore an intensive as well as extensive exploration or this area has been undertaken in order to contribute to the knowledge of plants of the region. Key words-Vegetation, genus, species.
