Abstract

The difference different combinations of NAA and GA concentrations were tried as treatment and whole plant spray in okra (Abelmo3chus esculantus L. Moench) cv.Arka Significant effects were obtained for seed yield/ha and germination percentage. The significantly higher seed yield (3.87 q/ha, 3.80 q/ha, 3.75 q/ha, and 3.73 q/ha) and germination percentage (80.00%, 80.00%, 78.00% and 78.33 %) were recorded by the treatments GA 100 ppm, GA 150 ppm, NAA 100 ppm and NAA 150 ppm sprays respectively, which was at par with each other, while the minimum seed yield (3.47 q/ha) and germination percentage (75.00 %) are recorded by the treatment control.
